Fatal accident kills Ravens cheerleader

Losing a loved one is often a tough and emotional time on the surviving family members. The death of a young friend or family matter is a difficult reality. The life of the deceased was just beginning and it was unexpectedly taken away from them. Very often, the incident that takes one’s life is a car accident. Whether it is at night or during the day, there are various hazards that can plague drivers the roadways. New Jersey residents should understand these dangers and take precaution when traveling on the road. If a driver simply watches their speed or avoids texting while driving, their chances of being involved in an accident can be significantly reduced.

Police were recently called to the scene of a tragic accident. The crash involved an automobile and a motorcycle. The man riding on the motorcycle did not survive the collision. The man was identified as a 27-year-old who recently earned a spot on the cheerleading squad for the Ravens.

A preliminary investigation indicates that the car accident occurred as the driver of the automobile was making a left-hand turn. During the maneuver, the motorcyclist struck the passenger’s side door. The impact of the collision killed the motorcyclist at the scene. The driver of the car did not suffer any serious injuries, but she was transported to the hospital for precautionary measures.

The accident is still under investigation. The driver of the automobile could be found to have been negligent in causing the accident. If that occurs, the driver might be liable for the fatal motorcycle accident. The loved ones of the deceased motorcyclist could file a wrongful death suit against the negligent driver. Compensation could be awarded and used for any expenses that resulted from the accident, such as medical bills, funeral costs, lost wages, damages and pain and suffering.

The loss of a young life is a tough reality to accept. It is difficult to cope with death and often the loved ones are stuck with financial burdens following a fatal accident. Filing a claim for compensation could help with these expenses, as well as assist with the coping process. Experienced personal injury attorneys are available to help navigate the families through the legal process.
